Koblenz
Koblenz is where the Moselle river joins the Rhine river. The confluence of the two mighty rivers has always had special meaning in Germany. To underline its importance a massive statue of former German Emperor Wilhelm I adorns the Deutsches Eck or “German corner”. This spot also offers great views of the river, bridges, cruise ships and the town, and provides a lovely background for your photos.
We will start our day with a guided tour of two hours. Our professional local tour guides will help us getting orientated and show us the highlights of Koblenz. There is so much to see, and Collegelife doesn’t want you to miss out on any of the beautiful sights.
Fortress Ehrenbreitstein
After we explored the city of Koblenz and got some lunch we are meeting back in the afternoon to visit the Fortress Ehrenbreitstein together. The adventure starts with a breathtaking cable car ride crossing the Rhine river! Once arrived at the Fortress we can easily spent there up to two hours in and around the fortress. There is enough to see and do for everyone.
The cable car ride and entrance to the Fortress costs combined 8 Euro for students and 12.50 for adults with the Collegelife discount (instead of 14.80 Euro without discount). The cable car ride and the visit of the Fortress should’t be missed on any Koblenz visit. Turn your Sunday into an adventure and join us.

We are meeting at 8.30 am at Busstop/U-Stop Düsseldorf Südpark (near Heinrich Heine University). The bus is leaving at 8.45 am.
Exploring Koblenz
Our first destination of this trip is the city of Koblenz. Straight after our arrival we will kick off our day with a guided tour of two hours by profesional tour guides. After the Guided Tour you have some free time to get lunch or explore more parts of Koblenz.
Optional visit of the Fortress Ehrenbreitstein
For the ones who are interested in visiting the Fortress, we are meeting back in the afternoon to visit the Fortress Ehrenbreitstein together. With a combination ticket of 8 Euro students, 12.50 adults we cross the Mosel river with the cable car and visit the in and outside of the Fortress.
Heading back home
We are heading back at 6 pm. Our expected arrival back in Dusseldorf is around 8 pm.
