Welcome to our day trip to Rotterdam. As one of the most modern cities in Europe, Rotterdam is an absolute must-see for everyone. Take this opportunity and explore the city of architecture with a huge group of internationals.

Rotterdam is the second-largest city in Holland and is with its impressive skyline unlike any other Dutch city. Rotterdam is also called ‘the Manhattan on the Meuse’. Rotterdam’s international port is Europe’s biggest harbour and among the world’s top five biggest harbours. It is an architectural and cultural metropolis with countless attractions, festivals and museums. The city has a lively, young urban culture and an unmatched selection of shops, restaurants and cafes.

We will start our day with a guided tour of two hours. Our professional local tour guides will help us getting orientated and show us the highlights. There is a lot to see, and Collegelife doesn’t want you to miss out on any of the beautiful sights.   • Meeting in Dusseldorf at 8.30 am.

    We are meeting at 8.30 am at Busstop/U-Stop Dusseldorf Südpark (near Heinrich Heine University). The bus is leaving at 8.45 am.

  • Exploring Rotterdam

    We will arrive in Rotterdam around 12 am. Straight after our arrival we will meet our professional tour guides. After our guided tour of two hours you can join the group to visit more cool places or you discover the city on your own.

  • Heading back home

    We are heading back at 6 pm. Our expected arrival back in Dusseldorf is around 9.30 pm.



Who can join the trip?
Our trips are designed for Erasmus and international students, German students, young professionals, interns and Au Pairs. However, that is not a restriction! If you are between 18 and 35 y/o you are more than welcome to join us!
What can I do if I have not received the booking confirmation?
It is possible that your ticket was sent to your spam folder. If you still cannot find the confirmation please send us an Email to providing your name, your Email and the booked trip.
Is there a deadline for the booking?
There is no fixed deadline for the booking. As long as you are able to book your ticket there are still spots available. Be aware that once the bus is full we will not be able to add more seats.
I booked a ticket and cannot go anymore. What can I do?
All our tickets are transferable. If you cannot make it to the trip you can give your ticket to a friend or sell in on the Facebook event page or in our Facebook group. If you have passed on the ticket, please send us a mail to and provide us with the following information of the new participant: Full name and Email address. For further information about our cancellation policy check the terms & conditions.
What documents do I need to bring?
As we are travelling to another country it is required to carry following documents: As an EU-citizens you only need to bring a valid ID-card or passport. If you are a citizen from a non-EU country, you need to bring your passport (only the ID is not enough!) AND a valid Schengen VISA or a resident permit. Important: Photocopies of the documents mentioned above are not sufficient. Your original documents get checked before you enter the bus. Unfortunately, to not cause any inconveniences for the group, you will not be able to enter the bus without valid documents.
Do I receive further information about the trip?
Yes, 2-3 days before the departure we will send you an information mail with all the things to know.
